He has been recognized for his morally upright decisions, concern for the rights of minorities and the disenfranchised and his support for access to justice for California’s poor. He was the sole justice voting to uphold the constitutional right to same sex marriage.
Congressman Adam Schiff of the 29th Congressional District at the recent fundraiser for the Los Angeles Neighborhood Legal Services at the home of Mark Gerragos. Adam Schiff received a Leadership Award for is perseverance for justice and integrity. He has been widely recognized for his unwavering opposition to the genocide in Darfur, as well as his continuing efforts to gain recognition for the Armenian Genocide.	Click to enlarge
